Staying up all night watching the 2008 elections from my home in Casablanca, Morocco was a life changing experience. Within those few hours my perception of my native country was transformed. I can honestly say that I'm proud to be an American for the first time in my life......and yes, I'm white...I figured I had to write and record a song and create a video about this experience...The video is sort of a Travel Music Video--although almost all the clips are from the USA...
